New Man of Steel Full-Length Trailer

As a result of the DSRW transmission and the viral video sent to us by General Zod the other night at the MTV Movie Awards (read this to refresh your memory),  Warner Bros. has revealed a brand new trailer for Man of Steel! Running a full 3 minutes and jam-packed with explosive action, new clips, and plenty of new dialogue, this trailer is everything a fanboy could hope for. Also, we finally get our first worthwhile looks at General Zod, Jor-El, and Lois Lane! Previous trailers have only shown a tease of these characters, but today we get the real deal.

This new trailer features a good preview of the character development that Christopher Nolan and Zack Snyder have promised for this film. Their goal has been to make Superman relatable for a change, since we all know that this is something that Superman has lacked over the past few decades. Do you think they’ll be able to successfully pull it off? Do you think that Superman can be relatable again? Let us know what you think about this and the new Man of Steel trailer in the comments below!

Man of Steel hits theaters June 14th! Check out www.ManofSteel.com for more information.

I think it’s going to be really hard to make the character relatable considering he is a superhero not a vigilante. I see what they are doing by giving a good back story to his childhood and him not wanting to show his true colors but what happens when he does is there still that connection? or is it lost? or since we all want what we cant have, does that keep us connected? I am not a huge follower of the superman legacy but either way this flick looks entertaining.

    • I agree and understand where you are coming from. Me being a huge fan of Superman, I have always been disappointed with the public reception of the Man of Steel because I knew the truth behind his character. I’ve always been a fan and understood the importance and significance that his character has. I’m hoping that people don’t feel disconnected from him as soon as he dons the boots and cape, but rather I hope they see Superman as an iconic figure that we can all look up to and rely on. Although he is not from Earth, his main purpose has always been to protect it and its people. If anyone can create a Superman film that is not only action packed but intimate as well, it’s definitely Christopher Nolan and Zack Snyder. So here’s hoping for the best! 🙂
