L.A. Noire Creators’ Newest Game Faces Uncertain Future

According to various news outlets, Kotaku among them, KMM Interactive has shuttered the development for Whore of the Orient, a game that was being developed by the remnants of Team Bondi, the developers of L.A. Noire.

KMM adsorbed Team Bondi in 2011 afters the developer’s controversial closure following reports of turmoil within the studio. Whore of the Orient was enthusiastically announced at the end of 2011 but never picked up a publisher.

There might still be hope for the game’s release, however, as a KMM repersentative told MCV that “Whore of the Orient is a unique and extraordinary story and game, and we are still actively pursuing the right investor to partner with.”
