Ten Marvel Villains Perfect for AGENTS of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Last week, Marvel revealed (or at least strongly hinted) that the first established villain to appear in their new Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. series will be occasional Avengers antagonist Graviton. The reaction among the fan community might have sounded almost like Michael Bluth reacting to his son’s egg girlfriend, albeit gender-reversed: “Him?” Hey, they can’t all be Doctor Doom.

But why not Graviton? After all, when you look at the broad spectrum of Marvel villains, there are big, feature film caliber baddies (Ultron, Thanos, Magneto), but there are even more B- and C-listers sitting around waiting for the (or any) spotlight. Here are ten Marvel supervillains who might not be ready for the big screen, but just might be ready for prime time.
